Biography:
Giulia Nicoletti was born in Palermo, Italy. In December 2020 she received her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, with the thesis “Characterization of prostate cancer aggressiveness based on bi-parametric MRI”. From October 2020 to December 2020 she worked as a Researcher at the Department of Radiology of Candiolo Cancer Institute, FPO-IRCCS, Italy. Then, from January 2021 to October 2021, she worked as a Researcher under grant at the Department of Surgical Science of the University of Turin, Italy. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering and Medical-Surgical Sciences at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Specifically, her research is mainly focused on tumor characterization using Artificial Intelligence techniques and a Multiomics approach, i.e., combining radiological, histopathological, and clinical data.
