A group of 4 people coming from the Politecnico di Torino, the Università degli Studi di Torino, and Bracco Imaging SpA joined a presentation and live demonstration of the VisualSonics photoacoustic imaging system. This in-vivo imaging technology combines the sensitivity of optical imaging with the resolution of ultrasound, thereby providing never-seen-before insights into tumor microenvironment, hemodynamic changes and a wealth of other research areas.
