Biography:
Giulia Rotunno received her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2021 with the thesis “Optical coherence tomography angiography and automatic vascular analysis: seeing skin lesions from a different perspective” in collaboration with the Medical University of Vienna where her thesis project was carried out. She worked as a Researcher under grant from August 2021 to December 2021 at the Center for Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering of the Medical University of Vienna. She is a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering and Medical-Surgical Sciences at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Her research is mainly focused on image processing and in particular on the acquisition, reconstruction and processing of OCT/OCTA volumes.
