Biography:
Silvia Seoni was born in Oristano, Italy. She received her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy, in 2018 with the thesis “Automatic evaluation of the hypnagogic state as first step toward the neurocognitive performance”. She worked as a Researcher under grant from June 2018 to October 2019 at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Politecnico di Torino, where she carries out research and teaching activities. Her research interests lie in the analysis of biomedical signals and images, particularly biomedical signals. Her work primarily focuses on the development of automated AI-based models for signal and image analysis, including the design of explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) methods and uncertainty quantification (UQ) techniques.
